Welcome to the Diss Junior School website for the Diss Community and Church Primary School Federation and thank you for showing an interest in our school.

Originally two separate schools, we came together as one Primary School in April 2014 and have one Governing Body. We are located on two sites within a short walk of each other and close to the very centre of the town.

The schools are known for having a warm and friendly atmosphere. Our staff, parents, carers, governors and friends in the community aim to provide a positive learning environment in which children are challenged, nurtured, valued and most of all that they enjoy their learning. This is a school community where they can feel safe and grow as individuals.

The Infant School & Nursery is a Community School and the Junior School is founded by the Church of England but both schools take all faiths, beliefs and cultural values seriously. We also have a Children’s Centre which provides support, courses, advice and activities for families with children age 0-5 years.

All of our children are unique and special. They all have talents and abilities and it is our aim to encourage every child to grow into independent, rounded individuals who are able to contribute to the society in which we live. We encourage our children to be creative and resilient.

We hope that this website gives you a suitable introduction to the school; if you would like to visit our school, you are very welcome to do so.
