It is important for pupils, parents and carers to use the school diary correctly. This ensures that we have a clear home/school link and that any messages can be passed on easily.
We ask that diaries are signed each week by a parent/carer. These will then be signed each week by your class teacher.
Year 3 – Diaries will be checked on Wednesday.
Year 4 – Diaries will be checked on Friday.
Year 5 – Diaries will be checked on Wednesday.

School meals are freshly prepared on the premises in our own kitchen by Norfolk County Services staff. There is a three-weekly menu, copies of which are available for parents. The menu includes a set meal of two courses, including a vegetarian option, costing £2.20. Jacket potato with various fillings and school packed lunches are available as an alternative to the set lunch. These need to be ordered by your child at morning registration. Drinks can be purchased but water is freely available. Lunches will need to be booked and paid for on a Monday (or the first day back if not in on Monday) and money should be sent into school in an envelope (no purses please) clearly marked with your child’s name, class, which days they wish to have lunch and total amount enclosed. For security reasons please pay by cheque wherever possible (made payable to Diss Church Junior School). Money for items from the tuck shop and drinks needs to be in a named purse or wallet.
Free School Meals – If you are unsure whether you child is eligible for free school meals please do come in and talk to a member of the office staff. To be entitled to free school meals parents must be receiving one of the following support payments:
