Lost Property Lost property will be put out in the hall after school tomorrow, Friday, 26th February. Any unclaimed clothing will be recycled next Wednesday. Please ensure that all clothing brought into school is clearly named.
Multi Skills After School Club
The last session of multi skills is tonight. There will be a tennis club starting soon. More details to follow.
Front Entrance
Please remind your child that they should not leave school through the front entrance but go out via the gate in the playground.
Shoes/Socks
Shoes worn to school should be black, grey or brown. Trainers, high heels, platform soles or coloured laces are not permitted, but children may change into trainers at break times when using the field. Socks or tights should be white, black or grey.
Earrings
A reminder that if your child wears earrings to school they should be small plain studs and only one in each ear. They must be removed for all physical activity. so please ensure that your child can remove the earrings themselves.
School Uniform
‘Get it 4 School’ have a sale on at the moment. Please take a look at their website or access it from the school website. Details of some of the offers are on the reverse of this letter. Don’t forget you can also help raise funds for the school by going through the website to place your orders to a large number of companies, including Amazon
Fund raiser for Haiti
The non-uniform day raised nearly £170, which was taken to the Oxfam shop in Diss by some of the children. Well done.
Outstanding money for school visits
If you have not already done so please could you send money in for the visits to:-
Hilltops (instalment now overdue for 2nd February, next one due 2nd March);
Holt Hall (instalment overdue for 25th February)
For security reasons whenever possible please pay by cheque (made payable to Diss Church Junior School). If you need to pay cash please take it with the form to the school office .
Maths Workshop on Division
Miss Hogg is running a Maths Workshop on Division for parents/carers on Wednesday 3rd March
at 3.30 p.m. Details regarding this have already been sent out this week. There is a creche available.
Head Lice
We would like to remind you to check your child’s hair regularly for head lice and treat as necessary.
