Message from Mrs Youngs Thank you for your continued support. Our Parents evenings will be in the week commencing 27th February. Letters will be sent out shortly with dates and times. If you have any concerns before then please do get in touch. You can always leave a message with the office and either myself or Mrs Bygrave will be in touch. |
Joint Year 2 / Year 3 Maths Day Year 2 children from Diss Infants School have joined us this week to work with Year 3. They looked at Mondrian art , played Big Maths games, read the story ‘Place for Zero’ and made numeracy crowns. |

‘MyMaths’ Well done to all the children for regularly logging in to ‘MyMaths’ and completing their weekly tasks. The feedback from children is positive. Parents, please let us know what you think! Just a couple of reminders – if you have problems accessing the Internet, please get in touch. We can arrange for our ICT Suite to be available to parents to support their children’s homework activities. Also, don’t forget to ‘checkout’ at the end of tasks then scores can be saved. |

Norfolk County Library Books As you will know from previous newsletters we had a number of County Library books that were not returned to school and the school is charged for any books we do not send back. Therefore we have come to the decision that if any book taken out on loan by your child is not returned, you will be charged the cover price. |
LOST PROPERTY Please come in and check for property you may have lost. If it was named it should have already been returned but we have a number of items with no names. It would help us tremendously if you could please make sure anything brought into school is clearly named. Any property not claimed will be disposed of at the end of this half term. |

PTA NEWS Disco – STILL REVOLUTIONS ARE BACK ! this Friday (3rd) Please note time - 6 p.m.-8 p.m.Entrance £1.50. Refreshments will be on sale. Please use hall door for entrance and exit. Cake Stall- Thank you Y4 for all the wonderful cakes and to all those people who came and bought them. We raised around £75. Well done. |

Tuesday 21st February – Shrove Tuesday If you have a school lunch on this day the main meal will be Burger in a Bun, chips and beans followed by pancakes, especially made by Mrs Stevens and her staff. And, if you like yours with sugar and lemon you will be able to add your own. Please return the slip below if you would like to have the special lunch and don’t forget to write it on the calendar so you don’t forget. Jacket potatoes will also be available as the main course.
